Default Best/Most Economical Way to Add Few Inches??

What have all the 3rd gen owners out there done to lift their 4x4 rams a few inches for a decent price? Ive seen the kits with rear blocks and new torsoin keys for like 300$ but I just dont see them being any good. Any suggestions??

body lift would be the next cheapest way to add 3" and wont change the ride quality of the truck. A leveling kit will give you about 2" of total lift in the front. Some say it makes the truck ride rougher. I've never noticed a difference in ride. Or for free you could adjust the torsion bars by tightening them which will raise the front, I know that will stiffen the front end. All are easy ways to gain a few inches and can be done easily. Adding torsion bar keys is a little nerve racking taking out the stock keys. Their is a lot of tension on them. I went through 3 c-clamps installing new keys on my buddies 3rd gen. it took about an hour to hour and a half to install. Also did a body lift on his truck, that took about 2 hours to do. The bumper brackets took the longest to figure out how they went.

New torsion keys will be the cheapest way to go. I would have a shop install them though. There is a special tool to loosen/tighten them, and things can go bad if you don't have it. Torsion keys and a longer shock will give you the lift you need and create a better ride

I have already tightened the stock torsion keys and it sits level now, I just want to get it a little taller, I might go with a 2" body lift

You can get new lift torsion keys. They are usually as tall or 1" taller than stock when they are completely loose

I would go with the torsion keys and body lift and a block or shackle in the rear. I had that in my old truck. Puts you at a good height for cheep
