I have the mygig with navigation in my '2011 Ram. I already have a backup camera, bluetooth interface and of course navigation. What more will mygig give me that I don't already have?

When it gives me rear audio/visual, does that mean I can add any monitors to the rear seats or am I stuck with monitors you guys provide? what is the interface for the rear audio/video?

Big,

Our allgig interface will add features to your mygig radio such as video and navigation in motion. It will also allow you to use the u-connect features in motion that only work in park right now. When using the allgig and the allgig av cable, the av cable will give you audio/video inputs and a video output. So you will be able to use the video output to pipe the video from the mygig radio to any rear monitors you put in as long as they have a standard video input. You can also add a game system or another dvd player.

I wanted to bring this thread back up to the top so you all could read it. There are a bunch of z members this week that have purchased their shiny new allgig. Please ask me questions!

Default Installed ALLGIG for 430N RHB Radio

I installed ALLGIG today. Took less than an hour. Factory backup camera only works in reverse (decided against splicing fatory wires and adding a relay ). Maybe some time soon NavTV will offer a kit that prevents us from having to splice wires in order to use the camera at all times!

If you are considering this mod but hesitant to tackle the job. Order it -- the install is very easy. Review the instructions others have offered on taking your dash apart and you will have it installed in under an hour!

I have a '11 with the 430N stereo. I already have the backup camera. Will I just need the allgig or will I have to purchase other items to get the fulltime rear view camera and in motion dvd player? To utilize the fulltime camera a forum member above said I would have to splice some wires? Is this true?

I did not have to splice any wires at all... but I went with a competitors product. All I have to do is tap the uconnect button twice and the rearview camera comes on and stays on. Tap it twice again and it goes off. I have had my product for about 10 months and everything is working great.

Sorry for the delay. I was traveling this week.

What are the three letters on the bottom right corner of your radio please?
Some of the vehicles are coming where you don't have to do anything to the camera wires with the factory camera. But we can't be sure until you install the allgig. The double press of the power button on the radio will force the camera on.
