Talking New 4.10's and LSD left a nice mark on the pavement :)

First patch with my new LSD and 4.10's. 17 yards long spinning fat daddy 305/50R20's tires

Love it!!

so how does your truck feel with the 4.10s compared to your old rear end?

I really like. I honestly thought it would be better off the line but much better than the 3.55's. I think an after market torque converted will be my next addition to get all the 4.10 has to offer. I was told my top end would suffer and that is very very minimal. Pro's =faster from 0-60, better power band range and just straight up feels grittier. Con's= gas mileage and transmission run about 20-25 degrease hotter. Called the dealership and they said it was normal with that modification but did recommend changing the tranny fluid sooner than the recommended scheduled maintenance. And I was really surprised it spun those fat tires the way it did, smoked'em. I was doing some 0-60 times before and after the mod and with the 3.55 I was getting 6.8, -7.1. With 4.10 I got a 6.3 last night coming home and tonight I got 6.4. Keep in mind in using a stop watch so it's very unofficial but faster indeed. Can't wait to get that torque converter installed, I think the two go hand in hand. And that LSD put the power to the pavement.
3.55 highway RPM at 80mp= 1998
4.10 highway RPM at 80mp= 2307
My 6 speed tranny last rear ratio is 0.67 so if you have the 8 speed this will vary.

The top gear in everything from the Ram 2009 to the 2014 Ram transmissions is the same

0.67 is the highest transmission gear ratio, 5 speed through 8 speed
it is the rear axle drive ratio makes the difference
3.21, 3.55, 3.92 or 4.11s

wow those are some good 0-60 times. I have the 3.55's on my truck and i want to get either the 3.92s or 4.10s sometime in the future.
