Here's what I found on mine for comparison....13 Ram QC Outdoorsman 4x4, 8spd, Hemi, 3.92's

Stock - 15 mpg average

Zone 4" lift with 35's - 14.2 mpg average

Zone 4" with 37's - 13.5 mpg average

Based on what I read here, I thought that I would be happy with 37's and quite honestly I was not. Not a huge difference in mpg's or power but enough of both combined that I have decided to go back to 35's. Not saying that you or others wont be happy with the 37's but for me the tradeoff was too big. Sure looks good though!

Another comparison... 2014 Laramie Crew Cab 4x4 8spd 3.21

Stock MPG 19 combined 70% highway mileage

Zone 6" with 35" Toyo MT and pro comp 6033 20x9 rims mpg 16.5 combined 70% highway mileage

The higher you go the more air drag under the truck equals less MPG. Further the heavier the rims and tires from stock equals more unsprung or rotational mass which also affects MPG. My friend has a 2013 Bighorn 3.92 with 6" pro comp stage I lift with bilstein set at 1.4 (essentially a 7" lift) running Nitto Trail 37s and xd addicts 20s. He has K&N CAI and Cat Back Exhaust with Diablo Trinity Tuner and gets close to 13 mpg. He believes after driving my truck that I actually have equal power if not a tad more than his with lower gear ratio. We did a test run down a strip of street about a 1/4mile and i not only out pulled him off the start line but dusted him in the end. Go figure..

His tire and rim combo is almost 20lbs per wheel heavier than mine. Ouch. He works for Discount Tire and has decided when it comes time to replace tire to drop down to 36" or 35" tire.

Choose wisely and remember you bought a truck which doesn't necessarily mean you bought it for MPG.
If you run a 22x10" rim it will even be Heavier so MPG will be even more affected.

2011 rcsb sport 4x4,3.92's,trinity on 87 tune, straight piped, cai. use to get 21mpg highway stock and 12 city, 8.5" lift on 35's/17's. i get at best 15.5 mpg highway on a nice day with no wind and 7-8mpg around town. i used to get 700+ kms on a tank when stock with the cai and exhaust now im lucky to see 450-500max...my last trip back home , which is 382kms door to door. i burned a full tank of gas, light came on a few mins before the gas station, fairly windy day makes a huge difference.

I feel your pain , I average 22L /100kms , get only about 400-450 kms on a 121L take of fuel in the summer with my setup 20" wheels and 37" toyos . in the winter with my 285's BFG's on I get less , usually about 370-400 kms a tank .
