Default Throttle Position Sensor problems

Just had Dodge store install Re-man Trannie in this 1997 Cummins. OEM trans had 392K on it with sudden downshifting and shuttering in stop and go traffic. Re-Man is doing a little of the same thing. Tech says its the TPS going nuts. Anyone had this problem ? Thanks Two

Nope, pros and cons to a

However, since were here...I'd suggest letting HIM install the new TPS. As simple as it is it very well be money in the bank for you.

If HE installs the new TPS and the transmission still does it, the ball is in his court.
