Got some alone time with some nice weather and I made hay while the sun was shining. Got to play with some appearance mods today, installed the roll pan, bed rug, tool box, and gave the truck a much needed bath. I can't wait until I can get my summer wheels on, these winters look like crap. I really don't know if I like the exhaust tips anymore with the roll pan. I wasn't 100% happy with them to begin with, but I wanted to see how it'd look with the roll pan, I'm pretty sure they will go soon.

The rollpan and cover really wakes the back of the truck up.
Truck looks wicked now Kurtis

What kind of job was it to get the rollpan mounted?

Did you seal the tailgate?

I agree they need to go.

Are you still playing with your headlights?

Truck sure looks good. Would love to see the finished engine bay and wheels!

Roll pan took about 20 min to get positioned and screwed in. I didn't use the double sided tape that the directions call for, I'll probably do it later when it warms up more, +6C isn't ideal for double sided tape and I'd already used the heat gun for warming up the metal to get the bed rug to mount properly.

The tool box will soon have some nice additions to it, it's going to be holding the dual relocated batteries, the air compressor and air management system, and I may do some carpet work on it to blend it in with the rest of the bed. Air tank will be powdercoated to match the green.

Arth, I'm still playing with the headlights. I'm pretty sure I wrecked one of the halos when I pulled the headlights apart, I just haven't been able to test the halo yet, and I'm still waiting on my butyl rope to arrive from the retrofit source since I couldn't find any locally.

Truck looks great! I'm in love with the bed cover, i want to know where you got it. Also I'll chip in on the tail pipes, i think they need to go. I would dump them somewhere in the bed, it would just make it look a lot clean.

Do you have any plans on de-badgeing the rear end? I know its a PITA to debadge the ram head on these newer trucks, but it would look a lot more slick.

The cover is a Gaylord's Customs cover with their speedstur wing option. The exhaust is definitely going, I figure I'll get it cut to be flush with the bottom of the bed rather than being dumped right over the axle.

As for debadging, the tailgate and antennae will be completely shaved when it gets painted in the fall/spring, so until then it will stay as is.

Have you thought about running the pipes out through the rollpan ,something like an early 70's Cuda style outlet.

I think I'll stick with a hidden setup, I did look at a few through-the-fender tips but nothing really appealed to me and I don't want a rear exhaust, I had it on my last truck and unless I cut out the rollpan it won't look right, and I prefer the completed look of the roll pan.
