Default 4WD Vibration

Hi guys
I had the truck out today and I had it in auto 4wd cause of the snow and I noticed that when I take off and start accelerating I get a vibrating coming from the front end, It does it in 4 lock as well but not 2wd. Anyone have any ideas ?

yeah yeah yeah.

it is common with leveling kits to get this 4wd shudder.

it really is only noticeable on flat surfaces (like flat packed snow, pavement).

the severity various truck to truck. mine does it online on flat surfaces and it's very subtle, and only up to 15-20 mph then it stops.

as long as it's not severe I wouldn't worry about it.

I have a level kit and never had a problem, I know with really high lifts you get the front end wobble, need to upgrade lots of parts. Might I suggest, bad u-joints to the front end will also cause quite a shudder, and would go away when you returned to 2wd as well. Just an idea

Mine does it to and it started after I levelled the truck with bilstiens set at 2.1. Only when in 4x4auto or 4x4hi and only between 15 & 20 km/hr above that speed it goes away. I'm no too worried as the levelled stance is worth it IMO.

As someone who has Bilseins on backorder, That's a little troubling. Never like to have shudder/vibration.
