Default I finally did it!

After months and months of research I have finally decided to order a lift. I ordered the MaxTrac 4.5" Spindles and the MaxTrac 2" lift shackles. I can't wait to get them here so I can find the time to install them.

Can someone recommend some shocks?
I know the fronts will be stock height and I assume the back will need to be 2in longer than stock.

I will post pics as soon as its installed.

In addition to the lift, I also have a superchips 3815, OE fog light kit, flex-a-lite e-fan, and fender flares to be installed soon as well.

Sounds like you are about to be busy! Congrats on everything, be sure to gives us some pics when you get it all on! Sorry, don't know if you would need longer shocks or not. Maybe give a local installer a shout and ask them. Good luck

Well I was planning to install the lift this weekend. But unfortunately it is going to be raining. In addition my homework is getting intense so I don't know when I will have time to install it. I went down to a local shop that does a lot of lifts and they quoted me $272 to install with alignment included. It has been a long time since I have had anything like this installed by a shop. I know that an alignment averages about $70 around here, so that would make the install $202. Maybe someone can tell me if that is a good price or not.

To install the spindles, shackles and alignment?! Heck yea that's a good price! Most guys here will tell you that's a good $500 + job there. I think that's a pretty good deal for sure.

I second that! On my 2011, I paid 400+ for just a coil spacer to be installed definitely a good price for your install and alignment! (free is always better though hehe)

I will definitely post pics when completed. I am waiting for my shocks to arrive and trying to figure out what tires I want. Should be installed within the next few weeks, would be sooner if I didn't have to drive a 100 miles two days a week for school.

I did get the fog lights installed right before the rain hit I will post pictures tomorrow.

The superchips 3815 was defective and the guy didn't want to refund me but thanks to eBay I will get my money back. Now I have to find another one to buy. I am thinking about ordering new instead of used after that hassle.

Default Update!

It has been a busy semester at school, not a lot has been done. I am excited because tomorrow I am dropping off my truck at 8:00 AM to get the lift installed. I will post pics in my build thread (Link below) as soon as I get home. Due to limited funds tires will have to wait until later. The install cost with alignment will be about $230, I think it's a great deal.
