Hello Var,

You have the 8 speed transmission, I have the 6 speed
I think that makes a huge difference!
You're truck has tons more get up 'n go...
That's where I feel it is most noticable.. at startoff
Once it rolls it does not bother me so much

A tuner for me is not an option because I ride on LPG for 95% of
the time.. there are no tunes for that.. (LPG costs less than half of
regular fuel here..)
That's why the gear change would be my only option, but as I mentioned
I'm a little lost for what exact parts I have to order..?

(by the way.. how do you get that nice signature in you're posts?)

cheers.. Leon

but I don't know what exact parts I have to change?

this is what I know so far..

Unfortunately, this is going to be a very difficult swap for you. In 2011, Dodge changed the rear diff, and nobody makes an aftermarket gear that fits.
You will need to have your current rear carrier machined to accept the aftermarket 4.56 gear. This is the easy part.

For the front, your ring gear is actually welded to the carrier. The only way for you to complete the front swap is to replace your front axle with 1 from an 09-11 1500 4wd. You will also need a new front driveshaft as well. From there, you can buy any aftermarket 4.56 gear which will bolt up without modification.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but Dodge made this a very difficult mod for the newer trucks.
Well anything is possible

I was the first 12 to get 4.56 on my truck. But I started and went from 3.55.
So you're better off than I was.

I can tell you parts you'll need but you'll need to locate a front carrier or entire differential assembly from an 09-11. Then you'll need to find a shop that can machine your rear carrier.
If you find the right shop, they can do all in house.

Difficult job will be finding the right shop. But you may already know one...

I just installed the 93 octane tune yesterday and took a very short rip around this afternoon, and I gotta say it's pretty sweet. I was hitting 160 kmh on the back hwys without any work! The shifts were so smooth my wife sitting next to me had no idea what speed I was hitting!

Turning onto the main hwy after, I was hitting 7th @ 100 kmh and 8th @ 120. Folks behind you will just vanish into dust! I honestly thought the guy coming up on me (already on the hwy) as I turned onto the hwy had turned off, until I spotted the speck way back.

Me like!

PS: If you don't have a local supplier (I say that because you're an ocean away) then FastnUgly @ BP (Bully's Performance) is your man! Give him a PM, and he'll take care of you.
Leon, as Var indicated. A tuner will help for now. Gears will great liven your truck up
But try the tuner first.
Plus you'll want one to calibrate those 37's to your truck.

Sorry Leon, I forgot about the LPG. But get a recalibrator then for the tires so that you can at least tell the computer what size tires you're running so you EVIC screen data is accurate etc.

---

Sig line - if you look under your "User CP" - "Edit Signature" is on the left hand side under setting and options. That is the area you can upload a photo (of certain dimension/file size limitations), and where you can itemize all your mods.

Var
As Var mentioned. Getting your tire call rated to your truck will already make a difference as your speedo and shift points will be accurate

Hello Var and Fast 'n Ugly,

My speedometer is recalibrated, my dealer had a hypertech calibrator.

Fast 'n Ugly... I have a shop that can do the machining no problem...
1 minute walking from my house! K-A-R-S Custom and Rod Shop
I only need to know what parts to order... If you can help me with that that would be highly appreciated..
I will have to order the parts new.. since finding used parts for a RAM in Europe is impossible..

And atached... some extra hefty porn..
