I ran 295/45-20's for awhile (11.6" wide x 30.4" tall)...the scrubbin was very minimal at best..I trimmed the inner fender lip which solved that (rear)..

I know of 2 of us dropped 4/6 that use our trucks as...well.... trucks. Dont be afraid to get the look you want and make it work for its keep. I sure do. I tow a 21' boat and find myself going thru fields and rough areas.... just slow down a little..for the little time off road, its worth it for the time on paved roads.

Can I do a 4/6 drop on an 04' with the srt 10 wheels. I believe the tire size is 305/45/22, that or 305/40/22. I bought the wheels and have them on and now I want to do a 4/6 drop.

B.S. No fourth gen can be lowered 4/6 with out having any problems. You bottom out on every thing with out a notch.

That's why this discussion has been about 3rd gens.

And yes, you can do a 4/6 drop on a 4th gen without a notch. I know because I've dropped my '09 4wd 4/6 with a rear air kit and bottoming out only happens when I hit a pothole or speed bump at speed.
