Default Temperature gauge sensor location ?

Hey guys, ol russian here again, I have a new problem. my temp gauge doesnt work and Im trying to find out where the little sensor is for it, I know its a one wire setup but I cant figure out where it is and I dont wanna have to get an after market gauge, anybody have a picture of where it could possibly be at ?also the engine is a 3.9 v6 pre magnum (thanks in advance)

I'm pretty sure that the LA motors had them up front right next to the thermostat housing.

ok ill check that, the only reason I ask is because on my ford I had two there was one for the gauge, then there was one for the computer I just want to make sure im not changing the wrong one lol But thanks guys ! i still got alot of stuff to figure out with the truck but thanks for the input!
