I believe it was posted somewhere else that if you take the seal off the original headlight and put it on the HID it will stop the looseness and lock it into place better. The original seal was thicker than what some HID's come with.

Just checked my bulbs. They fit in the housing fine, no moving around. I didn't have to switch seals, but that could be one thing to try. The fogs are easy to get at so some quick seal swaps could save you some money. My bulbs are from HIDSRUS. They are cheap, and tons of colors to choose from. Customer service is bad, but if you want cheap bulbs...

2013 Sport- Was worried about the DRL's in Canada affecting the power output, but the new Canbus is very good and the new projectors don't use either high or low beams for its running lights, so the drl's don't even come into play. Have had 5000k's in for about a month with no issue, no warnings. Even had it into dealer for recall on the flash update for the stability control after the conversion and they didn't even notice the change so I assume all is well with the computers still, no warning codes etc. The cut off is no better then with the infrared dipped halogens but the light output is noticeably brighter. picked them up from absolutehid. Kits comes complete and is all plug an play. requires drilling small hole in cover but has good rubber grommets to seal the hole.

It really boggles my mind when I read this. There should be some way to hold these manufactures accountable for marketing something that doesn’t fit correctly. Really! That is why Bulb Socket types/Part#’s & so on exists. Why have them otherwise?

I have been reading POSTS on this forum for days on ways to improve BOTH interior and lighting. I have found some threads that contain information I just have to try and have ordered the components to do just that.

I just want to commend all you people in enlightening (punt not intended) dumb folks like me. I suppose that is why FORUMS exist, for people like me….

My solution to solve that was to put a second o-ring gasket on the light. That made the lights snug and lock into place how they were meant to.
