Exclamation Salt Removal From Carpet

I have some winter salt that has rolled off the floor mat... So now I have a white powdery salt covering my black carpet... :/ What is the best way to remove this. I just got this truck and I don't want it ruined...

I believe there was another thread on this same issue yesterday. Personally I use a special carpet cleaner I can't remember the name but I will find it and let you know.

Thanks to Google

https://www.google.com/#q=removing+w...ns+from+carpet

most sites read vacuum then use 50/50 solution of white vinegar & water to clean almost anything up in your vehicle, including children's finger print messes
then shampoo if needed

I use Blue Coral spray on carpet cleaner. It has a foaming action that lifts the dirt. Just spray it on, rub it in with a bristle brush, let dry and vacuum. Wetting anything like a car carpet will take a long time to dry and may eventually smell musty. Also it is best to not soap a carpet, it will never completely rinse free of all the soap.
