Which 40 series FM muffler is a direct replacement (if any) for stock and is stainless steel? Anyone have a part number?

One thing that gets overlooked is if you have a cold air intake.i am running a dual magna flow, magna flow tips and an AFE cold air intake. At idle she is a slight rumble, step on it and its loud. Yeah there is some drone when the rpms are around 1500 but not annoying. It was quite a bit quieter until I put the cold air intake on. I love the sound now. Everyone hears differently and just the way you drive will make a difference. Just my opinion.

I've got the 40 series delta flow (843 0422) , it's 3inch in and dual 2.25 inch out (as our pipes are 2.25 inch) and it's stainless. Been on since 8/2011 sounds GOOD and many compliments on sound.

I went with a muffler swap with 14" magnaflow along with a y pipe and couldn't be happier. Rich deep tone at idle and sounds awesome wot

I have had the 40 and super 40. The super 40 is more deeper tone imo. I also have the pipes from the Mopar kit though that has no kinks in the bends and 5" tips. I'll try to post a clip tomorrow.

Hey guys I am thinking on the same question myself. I havea lot of friends with FM40's that sound great, but not truly the sound I want. If a mag is quieter than a FM, how much louder is a mag than stock? I have a 5.7 hemi witha K&N CAI...

I just had a local muffler shop install the flowmaster 50 delta series, to replace the stock large canister on my 2014, 5.7l. Drove it from the shop back to work here, has a deep tone, very mellow at cruise. I can hear the gear changes and kick down now vrs none before. But not overly loud inside or out.
