Default MBRP cat back on hemi!

Does anyone have this system or know of any videos of this system? Either Xp or pro series. Can't seem to find much on it. Just wondering how loud/aggressive sounding it is. It's between this or the flowmaster American thunder system and everyone has flows so hopefully this is at least as aggressive so I can be loud and different

Mbrp is a straight through like Magnaflow. They sound pretty close. They're more quiet at idle, but are pretty deep at wot.

Hmm sounds like I might have to go flowmaster. I want the constant rumble lol

Does anyone know if there is a company that makes something bolt on like a mufflex except with flowmaster mufflers??

The Flowmaster American Thunder is a bolt-on cat-back.
Check it out below:

I agree that MBRP sounds similar to Magnaflow cat-backs... Magnaflow it a little more throatier.

Cherry bomb makes on also. Ill try to find the link.

Its just like the muffflex, except a cherry bomb muffler in its place, you can get the votex which is like the mag, mbrp ect. str8 thru design. I have the cherry bomb extreme on my truck now, it wasnt the kit i just bought the muffler and had it welded on... i love the sound, its loud when you want it to, you can definately tell its not stock at idle and quiet on the hwy

Edit:they only make that kit with the vortex...

Sorry

You know this, how?

You've run them both?

Which Magnaflow are you mirroring it to?

+1 for me too. I have the 18" Maggie and she's pretty loud; all the mbrp system's I've heard are RASPY and nothing like Magnaflow.

Not all MBRP mufflers are straight through designs. There are several different application that many of the MBRP mufflers are designed for. Most of the kits you see, yeah, they might be a straight through design, much like mine. Mine are installer series round chambered, yes chambered. They also have the straight through design. I thought I was crazy for ordering the wrong part, but they were exactly what I ordered. They are louder than any Magnaflow that I have seen or been around. I also cut out the factory Y-Pipe, put up an X-Pipe, and ran two of the mufflers. Part number MBRP GP120426 Installer Series mufflers. They actually have the perfect tone. They aren't overwhelmingly loud with the interior resonance, and outside they have a great deep throaty tone. They really sound great when I step on it. Let me know if you would like to see some photos. I put some up on a thread I started, but they aren't the best. Ill even be trying to get a couple videos up later this week as well. Best of luck to you with your choices.
