Default Need help buying LEDs

I have a 2014 Laramie on order and I want to replace the existing reverse lights and bed lights with brighter LEDs. I have searched and found info about the rear brake lights and blinkers and the third brake light but even when they mention the reverse and bed lights they don't say much.

My questions are these:

1. If just doing reverse and bed lights, are resistors going to be needed? If so which ones?

2. Do I want can bus or regular LEDs?

3. When replacing these are people getting side effects such as bulb out warnings or other issues? If so, are there known fixes?

Dealing with these computer controlled lights is all new to me so any hints or tips would be appreciated.

Any Bulbs you want to replace on a truck that has EVIC you want to order Canbus LED's, also If your going to replace any Bulbs that are on flashers you will want to add a resistor to the load so you can stop it from hyperflashing.

Oh, by the way, if purchasing LED bulbs buy from a reputable company that will provide good support, EBAY bulbs can be hit and miss, places like autolumination, retroshop and retrosolutions you can email them and get answers before you purchase.

You may want to hold off on ordering replacement LED lights for your truck until you get it. Sometimes the bulbs are different from truck model to model.
It is best to pull out the bulbs you want to replace and check the sockets so you can order the correct replacement LED's.
It can get expensive if you order the wrong LED's and resisters.

JMO.
