My questions are these:
1. If just doing reverse and bed lights, are resistors going to be needed? If so which ones?
2. Do I want can bus or regular LEDs?
3. When replacing these are people getting side effects such as bulb out warnings or other issues? If so, are there known fixes?
Dealing with these computer controlled lights is all new to me so any hints or tips would be appreciated.
Any Bulbs you want to replace on a truck that has EVIC you want to order Canbus LED's, also If your going to replace any Bulbs that are on flashers you will want to add a resistor to the load so you can stop it from hyperflashing.
Oh, by the way, if purchasing LED bulbs buy from a reputable company that will provide good support, EBAY bulbs can be hit and miss, places like autolumination, retroshop and retrosolutions you can email them and get answers before you purchase.
