Default No heat coming out of floor vents

Ive looked in the heating/cooling section but cant find anybody with this same issue.

Nothing coming from floor vents, when i select the floor vent everything blows out of the defroster vent at the windshield, the face vents work fine and when the defroster is selected it works fine, just the floor is affected...nothing comes out.

I have a 2008 1500 quad cab

Any advise would be greatly appreciated, or if this has happened to you and you know how to fix it, please let me know

Thanks,
Mike

On the older trucks, its usually the blend door is broken, I'm not sure if that's the case for your year truck or not.

Are you asking this because your feet freeze off while driving in winter? I notice that I have no heat in the feet area. My mom who is usually the passenger on long winter trips can't stand it. I don't really care but nonetheless I'd love to know what the problem is.

Yes that's one reason, the other is that I really don't like the heat hitting me in the face along with my truck gets cold almost as soon as the heat is turned off. I like to just keep the heat in the middle and of feet to keep te truck warm

Most of the time it is not the controls, 9/10 it's a broken(snapped off) blend door in the HVAC duct. other than that it's a burned up actuator.

Ya i ripped my dash apart on monday...well almost all the way apart lol. I decided it wasnt a winter job, passengers have heat i would just deal with it. I played with the one a little bit for what I could reach lol. Needless to say, I have some heat coming to my side now, but only on high fan, well thats good enough for me. Warm my self up, and either go back and forth between 3 and 4 fan or drop the heat level lol.

Default Cold feet?

In another forum they talk about removing the blower an reaching in an pull the broken vent door. Another is Heatertreater.net (I think is correct) have a solution for the 3rd Gen Rams. Do a search on YuoTube you be able to find them.
