Default 99 1500 sport strange noise after abuse lol

so i took my 1999 dodge ram with the 5.9 magnum through bout 3 feet of water in between 2 sand bars on the wisconsin river. well more like ram'd it.
now when i drive down the belt line to work it makes a loud whine when i let off the throttle i have no idea what it is. did i get sand some where, where i shouldnt have? i dont think its coming from the motor. anyone got any ideas?

HELP PLEASE!!

This seems more like a "gotta be there" thread. There's not a lot to go on it could be something and nothing. Tire whine on the pavement...gonna get a lot of guessing the way I see it. I'd personally get under there and grease everything, u-joints etc to push out any water that may be where it's not supposed to be.

Diffs is where I'd start. Vents are not water proof

This is exactly right and I would do it quickly. Changing out the rear differential sucks. I know this from experience too. LOL Mine was a 2000 RAM they don't have a differential plug just a rubber bushing.
