Default Outdoorsman Distance to Spring Seat

Hi everyone,

I took a measurement this morning to get the distance from the lower control arm to the bottom of the spring seat. I realize that the Bilstein 5100s have adjustable spring seat positions, and I'm checking to see what my starting point is compared to non-Outdoorsman types. Anyone with a stock SLT care to share their measurement with me?

Mine is sitting at 8.25" from the mounting bolt to the bottom of the seat.

I'll be scheduling some time at the dealership to get the pinion recall fixed soon, and as longs as it's in there, I'd like to give them the new struts to do as well, along with instructions as to which setting to start with so we don't have to go through this twice.

Much appreciated!

~Chris
