So this is what I have so far. I want to buy the extra wiring and connectors, but I can't find anywhere in the description where it says what gauge it is. They are selling 18 and 24 gauge on the website. Anyone know? Pis there anything else I'm missing?

Stump the picture you posted to tap into the power. Does it also apply to a 2012 express?

A 2012 should look like this.... Green plug beside a gray plug. The 13's only have the green plug and the wires for power and ground are in different positions within the plug.
Verify you have a green plug with a gray plug beside it.

You need the yellow in position 13 for power and the black in position 11 for ground.

Thanx for the information and pictures. I could not imagine trying to find what you were talking about without the pictures.

You could also fine the fuse that is for your dome light and tap your positive into that and then just ground out your negative. Just another option.

In order to tap into the dome wiring all I need to do is insert the new wiring into the location where to dome light is wired in? And would I need to do this for both sides or just on the drivers side?
