Default Another Bilstein Question (2012 4x4)

I am purchasing Bilstein 5100's for the front and found them for the rear also. Bilstein 5100 Part #: 24-187374 says 0-1" lift for rear. Do the rears in fact lift the rear? Are they worth the money to do all four? Can anyone verify this? I have a 2012 reg cab 4x4. Rears are $76.25 fronts $99.13. Anyone have a shop install them and give you a good price? Thanks for your help. I love this forum!

that means they are for rear with 0-1" of lift. Therefore, if you had say a 2" spacer in the rear, the shocks would not be long enough. Those are the correct PN.

Where are you ordering? If you order through autoanything or bullysperformance you get around %16 off your order and free shipping fast shipping.

If you are even slightly mechanically inclined you could easily install youself. But a shop would probably charge 3.5-4 hours max for all 4 if they know what they are doing. Average shop rate is probably $80-90/hr. way to expensive in my opinion. Get a buddy and some beer and do it yourself if you have faith.

I have installed bilstein struts on a previous vehicle and they are worth it. I plan to do them on my Ram as well. If you have all the tools (hand tools/loaners from store, etc.) its a couple hour job if you have someone helping you do the job. I did one side while my brother did the other.

I put the rears on mine to match the front however the rears provide no lift. I felt it does ride better with the rear Bilstiens as well as the front to match all four corners. Overall very happy with this mod.

We do get better deals from our vendors.

An advertised price is almost never the lowest price offered/available.

As BP often whistles, find a lower price and we'll , at the very least, match it.
