+1 on what dodgert said, I had the same issue with my Porsche wheels and my run flats, we had to bring them up to over 110 to have them seat well. another way is to get a large cargo ratchet strap, the heavy duty ones, wrap it around the un-inflated tire and tighten it up, then re-pressurize the tire, this sometimes will force the bead to sit, when we would do stuff like that, the guy I would go to had a old balancing machine, it have a large steal cage that covered the wheel when being balanced, he would put the wheel on the balancing machine and it it there in case. Just a thought.

Opps, sorry, just saw you used the ratchet technique also.

So this is what I'm dealing with. Hope you are able to see what I was talking about when I said that a section of the tire wont seat when inflated.

Looks like the rim guard on the tire wont accept the wide lip of the rim. You are sol on this one. Need different tires or rims, thos 2 are not. Compatible

Thank God for a tire shop, on this island, that knows what they are doing! After going to 3 different shops the 4th and only one left was able to accomplish what I was starting to think was not going to happen.

Now I just need to wash her up and post some decent pictures.

Very nice! I've been watching your thread, glad they are on! I was going to suggest what we use in the tire building industry for stubborn rubber... Isopropyl alcohol. It works like a champ and leaves zero residue and dries quickly. Over inflating tires is sketchy. The way tires are built today, you will blow out the sidewall before any other part of the tire. I've seen it several times during our tire building process, it's scary as hell! It shakes the floor of our building! If anyone else is ever in same situation, just remember to stay clear of the sides of the tire. Nothing is going to come through the steelbelts, spiral wrap and tread. Not on a quality tire anyways.
