Default 04 Hemi Sport exhaust

I am wanting to replace the rusted muffler of my truck and from some places I see that it is 3", but others say 2.5". I would rather just replace the muffler since I already have a nice tip on the system. So with that what length do I need and is magnaflow the best option here? The input would be appreciated. I looked at the MBRP cat back system, but I would rather just replace the muffler.

i would just get which ever muffler that you like.

a good shop will either cut extra pipe away or add new pipe in if your muffler isn't long enough

Ok, I understand that but I don't know what size of I/O diameter to get for the muffler.
