What silicon or adhesive do you use after baking, painting, then reassembling the headlights? I have a Home Depot right next to my house so ideally I'd like to get it from there.
what keeps the lens attached to the rear housing is called "Butyl Rubber Glue"
its a synthetic rubber, elastomer. Butyl rubber glue is impermeable to air and used in many applications requiring an airtight rubber seal like head light housings, it is the best product to reseal you headlamps. you can find this at theretrofitsource, not sure you can find this at Homedepot.
I use the black exterior silicone. 3 sets of lights and only one leak, but that one was not a seal issue. I even use the stuff to adhere my halos rather than using epoxy.
