I have this set of tail lights and need some help with the wiring. There is two sets of wires ( Red, White, Blue ) and I have no clue which is what and which wires on the truck wiring harness do I use.
Can anyone help with any information on the wiring?
Do you have a DC volt meter? You'll need the volt meter to find the hot and the ground wires on your wiring harness to your tail lights.
As far as the tail lights, I'm guessing... do they have back up lights are are they just tail/brake lights? One of the wires will be your ground, one of the wires will light the brake lights and one will light the tails. Strip a little of each wire off and touch one to the positive side of your battery and the other wire to the negative post or any metal. There are only 3 wires, so it shouldn't take you a couple of tries to figure out which one is which.
