Default ?? for those with White trucks (or cars)

Before my Ram, I had a white Dakota.

It really irritated me to see those little rusty spots all over; I was told it was from the brakes (and the material they are made from); hot specks coming off the brakes and landing on the paint.

If this isn't the case...........please advise.

If this is the case..............what do you all use to clean the spots?

Are there brakes out there that won't do this?

I told myself...."No more white".....but I like the white.
