Based on what I've seen from my readouts, your actual calcs are so much closer than mine are - compared to the readout. I'm curious what calcs are being done internally since they seem to be all over the place. It seems that we are both enjoying a roughly 10% increase in MPG, but like you I want to see a full tank with the same driving habits to make the real determination.

It really depends on when you reset. The EVIC seems to calculate a running average. So if on one tank of gas you drove like a bat out of hell and got 13 MPG's and on the second tank you drove at 15 MPG's it will average to about 14 through the EVIC. I try to be consistent and I will be posting EVIC and hand calculated MPG's hopefully next week when I finish off the tank. I don't drive far so updates will be slightly slow.
