injector swap

I am putting a 5.2 out of a rolled '97 Grand Cherokee into my '95 Ram 1500. All the sensors needed changing over, and the flex plate too. What I want to know now, will the '97 injectors that are for the OBDII computer work with my OBDI setup? Same pressure, flow, all that stuff?
Also, the '97 has no EGR, will that affect the engine in any way? I realise it may make the Check Engine light come on, but its been on for three years now anyway.........

The injectors may have a different connector. I don't know since I don't have the knowledge with Jeeps. As far as the EGR, just swap out the intake manifold. As far as the check engine light for the EGR. If its original, Dodge still offers EGr's for the 2nd gen Ram's.

They connected up fine. Just wondering if the pump pressures are the same. Guess I'll just fire it up and see how it runs.

The 95 uses 39psi the 97 will be 49psi. It will run pig fat.

Fired it up, runs crappy. Have to change the injectors, I guess. Oh, well, no biggie. Already changed just about everything else!

Hooray! Swapped in the early style injectors and it runs great! Seems to have lots more power than the original engine. too. It was probably down quite a bit on compression anyway, even before the head swap made it an oil burner. I'm hoping a few heat cycles will burn any oil deposits off the O2 sensor......
