Some might call this janky or what have you but it was 10X cheaper than buying a kit. I used the magnaflow smooth pipe transition y pipe pn# 10778 and used 2 2 1/2 x 18 inches long muffler tubing i had to put a bend (angle cuts) to make the pipes come out in the same place as the muffler so the tail pipes lined up. On the front of it i used a 3 inch by 18 inch muffler tubing and i welded the pipes to the Y pipe and clamped them to the factory front and rear with a 2 1/2 to 2 1/4 adapters that i had a muffler shop make for me to fit the rear pipes. I made this whole set up right at 100. bucks. and it sounds as good or better than the more pricier kits.

You have me really considering this

Calped45 09-26-2013 12:34 AM

After doing all the math and all with the y pipe I listed earlier only one of the 2 outlet pipes had to be bent to an offset of 1.5 inches if you keep everything straight and true it will fit in place of the muffler with no problems and I did mine in about 4 hrs from removal of stock muffler to welding the y pipe up and installing it and for around a 100 bucks I can't complain

Depends on if I can get a muffler shop to work with me on getting the tube bent I might make a few and sell them if I did sell them it would prolly be around 150. For everything
