Hey Cajun thanks for the advice, I havent looked into vacuum leaks yet. What I have done though was checked all the grounds and am putting new plugs and possibly another 02 sensor in tomorrow. And to ad to the headache the starter is acting up like it is bad. Tap on the starter and it will start, but when I was going over the grounds I jumpered a direct ground to the starter body and it works as it should. Next step there is gonna be remove it and clean the starter and block. Do the 3rd gen trucks have ground issues that you know of? Thanks for the info I really apprieciate it, hopefully Ill be able to return the favor.

Hello and thanks for the warm welcome, and help is what I need. My 02 Ram is having some electrical issues with the precat 02 sensor. The only code I get is a Po171 and I have replaced the map sensor, and have good fuel pressure. Do you think it could be a ground issue or something more severe? Thanks for any help. Dave
