Thanks Paul, I understand, makes sense. Actually not a buddy, but a poster asking the question and some of the responses he received seemed rather extreme, off the wall or just wrong to me so I was curious what the expert might say to file away for future reference should I run into the same problem. Although I have to say when I owned boats, I use to wax 2-3 times a year and did not notice oxidation until after many years. Me thinks this guy has neglected the waxing, or using crap wax. Anyway thanks my friend, be well and give those dogs an extra scratch.

I'm doing well. Kickin' it in Florida this week. Ft. Lauderdale/Boca Rotan area. Nice that I'm in Florida, but sucks that I have to work through Sunday. So much for a 3 day weekend...

Good to hear from you, Dood! How's yours hanging, Paul?

LMAO! You are too funny. Poor guy I feel sorry for him. A couple questions, when I inquired of you about Collonite boat wax, you indicated your marina does not use it, any particular reason? Also, on my TT's owners forum there was a discussion around a fellow whose front cap to his TT was oxidizing faster than the rest of the trailer, makes sense as the front cap is a dark color while the rest is white. Anyway he was wondering how to restore it, sounds like it may be beyond a product such as Collonite boat cleaner which i understand removes light oxidation. Any thoughts from your professional expertrise, I am just curious?

Hi Paul, The Collonite, both the boat cleaner and boat wax was very easy to apply and in the case of the wax easy to buff out. Did it all by hand, did not use my R/O, very pleased so far with Collonite.
    Be well, Best Bruce

I received the same message a few days ago and today my account was shut down for a while, but I have it restored now. I guess my e-mail was hacked, sorry of it caused you any issues. We returned from another wonderful trip, escaped the 100 plus temps in exchange for a high in the low 80's. Today I had the day off, so I finally got around to a complete wax job.... wow what a job. Spent the entire day and I still need to do one side, but the other side, front and back are done with 2-coats of Collonite Boat Wax. After washing it thoroughly, I applied Collonite boat cleaner before applying the wax. I hope you are well.

    Best Bruce

Very nice ring to it. That's gonna go to my head.

Unique being code for 'very strange' correct? lmao

I love tell stories & talk about my dreams/ambitions...
and then tend to ramble on about them, as I'm sure you've noticed.

    Thanks Paul. T/c

    Well! We're just regular authors!

Yeah man! The guys around here think I'm mental because I'm not a 'normal girl' but pooo on them!

Yessir, I get amped up about vehicles..

The job demand around here is low as well, but then again, there's only one mechanic in the nearest town... on top of that my Dodge dealer's mechanic... is an idiot. Trying to get my foot in the door at the dealer-- have friends there-- even if it's a seasonal thing washing and caring for their cars.

Cool to hear your experiences and thanks so much for the advice!

Oh man, I didn't realize we were even going towards THAT wish list! '69 or '70 Charger. or... Well. Used to have a '66 Polara in red. I loved it. The ride, the look. Everything. But. My house burned down back in 2010. A few splotches of melted plastic hit the Polara... Fixable... but my grandpa took it for 'safe keeping' (one wall of the garage was gone). Haven't seen it since. Don't get me STARTED on the time that he STOLE my '96 Ram....

That mechanic gene seems to be getting me into some trouble lately. Haha, would rather work on vehicles than deal with most people. I've been seriously thinking of going to school for something like ASE cert. before I get myself too deep into a Biology/Chiropractor degree.... IDK yet though...

sorry, you didn't ask for a book.

    Oh goodness, yes. Definitely addicted.
yes much sadness stems from not having unlimited funds for Dodge/Ram needs.
(for example, I'd love to have a 2008(ish) Charger too... but. heh. not happening. More of a Truck girl anyway, but the 5.7 Hemi Charger is soo much fun to drive...)
Hey thanks for that. I feel like 4 years of art classes working with drawing and painting miiiight have helped me with that...

I'm definitely obsessed with making my 'baby' look his best.
(Therefore the freezing temps that are attacking after having 80's and 90's are like killing my mood because I can't do much )

Ah well. Good to hear from you!
    T/c, Paul!
