A little bit of good news, I found the rubbing noise. Popped the hood and figured, wiggle the engine. Voila, the noise was there, after some listening found it to be a wiring harness that was rubbing against a mount it was strapped to. Shitty I have to diagnose my own vehicle but went back to my dealership and they are going to have "tech" do some digging. Hopefully I will be able to enjoy my truck the way I envisioned. Thanks for listening.

Well darn, I was hoping for a better result for you. Do you have a trustworthy independent mechanic in your area who might could help you diagnose it and then take that info to the dealer? Sounds like they can't find the source of the noise, but, if it were me, I'd keep on them until it's found and fixed to your satisfaction.

Sorry to hear about your problem and I have to agree with you, this is not normal and they should check into it for you. Only real problem I've had with dealerships is them not being able to replicate the problem so the light bulb goes on lol and they can pinpoint the problem. Give them a shot at it and see what they say, that's what warranties are for. Make sure you get them to check into any open/active recalls or TSB's that they can address and if you don't like what they say, if you have another dealership nearby, nothing wrong with getting another opinion. Good luck and sure hope they get it fixed for you! :)
