tape exposing the clear portions of the lense and sprayed the entire lense with the clear coat in the same way allowing 30 min of dry time in between coats. with the clear coat i just used the entire can. once the final coat of clear coat was on i let dry/cure over night. the next day i let sit in the sun for a few hours. once i was confident that it was fully cured i wet sanded them until there was no orange peel effect in the paint. after that i took a 3M head light restorer pad and hooked it up to my drill gun and buffed it with rubbing compound 3 times till there was no scratches. As they sit right now they are absolutely perfect. I personally dont think a professional could have done a better job.
Tips: It takes a lot of patience. If youre any thing like me you will want to sit there and get the whole project done in 20 min lol.
