I definitely didn't expect to get hired to work on his Jeep, that's for sure! (Also--It's such a nice change to get paid to detail a vehicle... why won't someone pay me to detail Silver?? lmao)

I love hanging around the shop, because a number of the guys there don't even bat an eyelash about the fact that I work on my own truck, where as a lot of others around here think that's like blasphemy or something.
All I do know is that using a plasma cutter is real fun. Welding I haven't tried yet... Wanted to take shop classes in high school (small engines, welding, wood working...) but Counselor said 'why? they won't help you in college...' :| Why did I ever listen to her?

Teehee, puppies are bundles of fun and mischief. I know right when we first got Tess I was thinking 'who in their right mind enjoys having these psychotic things around?' but I retracted that statement pretty quickly.

Good to hear from you as well Paul

Hoo-ee, lemme tell you, I love them so much. I actually have to dim my lights now when oncoming traffic is near. They're great!

One of the guys that hands around the mechanic's shop (Had a detailing job today--big ol' Buick Grand Marquis) hired me to work on his jeep. Wants it detailed and wants me to put my computer expertise to use trying to find a replacement lens for the fog lights it has. (they were glass, one fell off and shattered) My mechanic-- Mike-- is going to see about getting me into some welding classes. Thinks they'd be real beneficial if I'm looking into getting my Auto body repair cert. He's also interested in working with plasti-dip now that I've shown him all you can do with the stuff. (took some convincing that the stuff won't hurt the paint...)

    How are YOU?

    Hey brother.

All good here. Just working, enjoying family life, and working some more. Hope all is good with you. When are you going to let me nominate you for MOTM?...

ha, More just plumbing. My electrical 'expertise' is limited to putting in a new outlet and helping wire in a light...

Now if I could just get over the major blonde moment I'm having, I might actually be able to install these things at some point...

That's actually really good to know. I've read the directions like at least 10 times, and I'm still not sure I get it 100%. long story short, Dad's a plumber. I can do plumbing. Electrical stuff I'm not so sure about. The instructions seem.... relatively simple though. Between you and the Z, and my friend down the road that installed the same kit, I'm hoping I won't have to tuck tail and go talk to my mechanic.

Other than that, I'm planning on removing Silver's drivers side headlight and drying it out, then sealing it with silicone.
Wheeeee! But hey, I got the kit for 23 bucks, switch and wiring included.

    blahh, school tomorrow though...

Oh no! I can't blame you. I'd end up doing the same thing.

I'm jealous, but there again how could I not be?! I'm so glad your new addition is doing well.

I just picked up a set of Fog lights to put behind the grille (now I have to figure out just how to install them). Either way, it seems I have a project for the weekend. Lighting.

Thanks and yeah, that was definitely a game I needed to win, too many gator fans in my family for me not to show 'em how it's done lol! FSU and LSU pulled it off so I'm happy lol! Hope you're having a great weekend, take care Paul!

Well, that's an interesting question. I could probably go on for hours debating the issue, but that would probably just piss you off. Hmmm, that's a pretty good reason to do it, then. Ok, so here's .... that'd be funny. Honestly, I don't know. I can relay the question up the food chain and see what I get. I'll let you know, Bro.

So, how are things in the City of Long Island? Great fall weather here today. Had a great time playing outside today, which did me good cause we had a team building activity Thursday. It was bowling. Now, there's not too many things that I suck at, but, bowling is one of them. I don't do it often, so when I did it Thursday, Friday I was sore as shit. Good exercise though, and there was free food and my favorite kind of beer... FREE!

I got to wash AND Wax Silver today! It was in the low 60's today.

I also learned that it's possible to wax a truck in the dark. heh.

Anywho. I was excited and wanted to let you know that I finally got 'er done. Now I just have to wash the windows. (That one is a little hard to do in the dark, believe it or not)

Hope all is well on your end!
    T/c Paul!
